As with almost half the races in the 2008 season the event at Maryland International Raceway was rained out. With a great effort drying and prepping the track after Saturday morning showers the MIR track crew had the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mods ready for first round of qualifying by 4PM.

First Round of Qualifying

With the chance of impending weather both John Mazzoranna and Royce Miller decided to forgo the second round of qualifying and go directly to the first round of elimination's

Eliminations

Freddy Scriba got a bye run, with lots of tire shake he clocked a 8.780

The next pair were Assenmacher and Hendereson with Troy taking the win with a 6.745

Up next were Hayes and Blasi, Jeff took the win with a 6.682

The 4th pair pitted Pluchino against Plumber, John went red giving the win to Larry

Next was Kramer and Burnley, Ed took the win with a nice 6.290

The six pair had O'Hare against Rodgers, Tim throws away a nice 6.31 with the red light giving the win to Jeff

The final pair were Decker and Courtier, Gary takes the win with a 6.411

The clouds rolled in and then the showers began again after the first round. The remaining rounds were rescheduled for Sunday at 11 AM but also had to be canceled due to rain
