Due to the impending weather forecast for this weekend and distance most teams have to travel the event at Pittsburgh Raceway Park for June 14th has been canceled. It's the third consecutive race where weather has held all the cards. We are looking forward to the next race at PRP on August 16th |

For the second time in as many races Mother Nature showed everyone who’s boss.
The first "Extreme" race at Cecil County on Saturday was canceled due to weather. Many race teams made the journey in hopes of a break in the forecast only to have them dashed with heavy thunderstorms and a Tornado watch.
It was the Northeast Pro Mods first "Extreme Event " a format where fans are treated to a very unique drag racing experience. Four distinct performance combinations will square off in two separate 8-car fields. Nitrous assisted doorslammers will battle normally aspirated mountain motor entries, while blower cars will race turbos.
A purse of $5,000 goes to the winner of each 8-car field. After a winner is declared from each side, a "King of the hill" run off is staged, where an additional $3,500 goes to the winner and $1,500 is awarded to the runner up. Check our schedule for up coming Extreme Events.
The club is looking forward to our next scheduled race at Pittsburgh Raceway Park on June 14th |

After extended discussion over the weather conditions in the Numidia area both Bobby DiMino the owner of Numidia Raceway and John Mazzoranna of the Northeast Pro Mods made the decision to cancel the race for May 17th. The club was looking forward to kicking off the 2008 season in the beautiful soundings of Numidia. We’re sure the weather for our next race there on August 16th will be more cooperative |

"I really missed racing in this organization." -Vinny Budano
(4-2-2008) Huntington,NY- Looking for a little diversity to go with your heads-up drag racing? If you're fortunate enough to live in the northeastern United States, look no further than a series often described by the locals as well as the participants as the "Best kept secret in heads-up": The Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Association.
Founded in 1992 by native New Yorker, John Mazzoranna, the northeast-based doorslammer club was launched with a goal and vision of providing entertainment for fans, increasing sponsor promotions and filling the grandstands of regional tracks across the northeast.
