(11-19-08) O’FALLON, MO - Coming off its most successful and exciting racing season ever, the Flowmaster American Drag Racing League (ADRL) presented by the National Guard is ready to celebrate Dec. 13, with its 2008 Racer Appreciation and Awards Gala in the Regency Ballroom at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

“We’re really looking forward to recognizing our 2008 world champions and presenting some well-deserved special awards, too,” series president Kenny Nowling said. “The racers truly are the backbone of the ADRL and deserve a special night like this.”

In addition to awarding 2008 world championship rings to Jason Scruggs (Pro Extreme), Billy Harper (Pro Nitrous), Billy Glidden (Extreme 10.5) and Bill Vose

Receiving top honors was Bruce Boland of Hamilton, Ontario.

NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO (November 15, 2008) - Highlighting the Fourth Annual Pro Modified Racing Association Champions Banquet, hosted by the Master of Ceremonies Chris Biro in Niagara Falls, Ontario, were the acceptance speeches from the top four drivers of the 2008 PMRA Tour.

Receiving top honors was Bruce Boland of Hamilton, Ontario. Driving his B&B Racing 1963 Corvette. Boland won the 2008 PMRA Point Award Series Championship sponsored by Wix Filtration Products, Valvoline, Uni-Select, and Moen Incorporated. The championship is Boland's second consecutive title.

Bluebaugh Racing’s Team AutoTrader has been working double time to prepare for the Street Car Super Nationals (SCSN) in Las Vegas November 20th-23rd, 2008. Bluebaugh has been going through the AutoTrader Monte Carlo making off season upgrades early in preparation for the event. Crew Chief Deborah Woodard said we really want the car to be at its best. The SCSN will draw some of the top Pro Street contenders from around the nation and the competition is expected to be fierce. (11-14-08)What is your favorite track? It has to be MIR I feel it is my home track & I have had much success at MIR. My 1st IHRA Presidents Cup National Event Win, many match races wins the ADRL Win the 1st time out with my brand new car!! I also remember racing there with my dad as a kid.

Why a Pro Mod? Pro Mod caught my attention more than any other type of racing even though I grew up around Pro Stock. I like the various types of body styles the nostalgia look & I still think it is the most exciting class in Drag Racing.

Favorite moment in a Pro Mod? Back when me and my Dad & my cousin Chick my crew chief realized that knocking on trailers doors asking for help from others was a joke and most don't know what they are
